The East African Small and Medium Enterprises Oil and Gas Conference

The  Stanbic Business Incubator in  partnership with Stanbic Bank, the Uganda National Oil Company (UNOC), the Petroleum Authority of Uganda (PAU), the China National Offshore Oil Company (CNOOC) and the Uganda Investment Authority (UIA) are hosting an Oil & Gas Conference to explore opportunities in the Oil and Gas Sector while tackling challenges that may be standing in the way of the SMEs targeting the Oil and Gas industry.
The  content  of this conference is tailored to deal with the peculiarities of SMEs. The Conference will bring together SMEs from the different sectors of the economy, International Oil Companies, capital financiers, and government technocrats.
It will also offer an opportunity to SMEs to show case their capabilities, network with potential partners, and learn the demands of potential clients  first hand.

The objectives of the conference include:

1.To create a platform that brings together SMEs targeting the Oil
and Gas sector
2 To create a platform for SMEs to showcase their capabilities
3 To offer a platform for SMEs to learn first-hand about the
demands of the oil industry
4 To offer a platform for SMEs to lobby regulators like URSB and
URA in terms of further easing the doing of business in Uganda
5 To offer a platform for SMEs to learn from peers and forge
partnerships
6 To link SMEs with players in international oil companies and
potential financiers.
7 To create a platform for discussion of sustainable approaches of
developing the Oil and Gas industry.
