The Uganda Refinery Feasibility Study Summary Report-FWEL 2011

INTRODUCTION

This report summarises the results of the Ugandan Refinery Study undertaken by Foster Wheeler Energy Ltd (FW). The aim of the project was to establish the feasibility of constructing a refinery in Uganda and compare a potential refinery project with a crude export pipeline. The project looked at 6 options for the refinery configuration and two routing options for the export pipeline. Three early refinery options were also investigated to allow a reasonable ramp up of production and development of the required infrastructure.
