EOI-Consulting Services-firm selection for women and youth empowerment in Business
The Petroleum Authority of Uganda (PAU) has received financing from the Fund for Africa Private Sector Assistance (FAPA) through the African Development Bank towards the cost of
the Micro and Small Medium Enterprises (MSME) Business Linkages on East African Crude Oil Pipeline (Uganda) Project and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this grant to payments under the contract for women and youth empowerment in business.
The purpose of this assignment is to recruit a consultancy service provider that is capable of designing and implementing a Busines Development Training program, that will help increase the number of MSMEs which are women and youth owned/led supplying the oil and gas sector. The consultancy service provider is expected to provide support in the form of technical, administrative, managerial, business, marketing andegal coaching and mentoring program that will lead the beneficiary enterprises that are women and youth owned/led to be productive, operate a business, create jobs and supply goods and services to Uganda’s oil and gas sector.
Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the African Development Bank’s “Rules and Procedures for the use of Consultants” dated October 2015, which is available on the Bank’s website at http://www.afdb.org. Interested consultants may obtain further information at the address below during office working hours from 8:00
am to 16:00 pm. East African time.
Expressions of interest must be delivered in hard copy to the address below on or before 11th February 2022 at 11:00am East African Time marked “MICRO AND SMALL MEDIUM ENTERPRISES (MSME) BUSINESS LINKAGES ON EAST AFRICAN CRUDE OIL PIPELINE (UGANDA) PROJECT- WOMEN AND YOUTH EMPOWERMENT IN BUSINESS.'
